Children's Book Reading with Dannika Patterson

Join us at West Village these school holidays for a special reading with children's author, Dannika Patterson, of her book, Scribbly Gum Secrets.
This story follows a group of friends as they take a walk through the Australian bush, discovering a world full of natural wonders. However, one child's mind is focused on one thing... who, or what, has made those marks on the bark of the scribbly gum trees?
Children will love exploring the biodiversity of the Brisbane region (where this story is set) through this colourful and engaging story. Filled with flora and fauna including birdwing butterflies, carpet pythons, flying foxes, flowering lemon myrtle, bush stone curlews, and the iconic scribbly gum trees.
After the reading, children can take part in a free craft activity centered around the story.
