Add a special touch to Christmas gift giving with handmade cards! @creativekidsbrisbane share how to create a handprint Santa card 🎅

Materials required:
· A4 White card
· Red card
· Paint and paint brush
· Google eyes
· Pom poms
· Cotton balls
· Glue
· Scissors
· Marker
· Pencil

Step One: Fold white card in half. Place hand on card, ensuring the wrist is on the fold line and trace around the hand.

Step Two: Using paint, paint the palm area of the white card (this becomes Santa’s face).

Step Three: Cut out the Santa hat using the red card.

Step Four: Glue down hat, eyes, pom-poms.

Step Five: Glue cotton balls onto the fingers to make Santa’s beard.

Step Six: Write a friendly Christmas message inside your card!! 🎅🎄

It’s time to get festive! The kids are sure to e

It’s time to get festive! The kids are sure to enjoy making this Jolly Santa Wreath by Creative Kids Brisbane. Simply follow the steps below!

Materials required:
• Paper plate
• Coloured card - Red, Black, Silver, White
• Red Paint / Paint brush
• Wooden Clothes Pegs
• Ribbon
• Cotton wool balls
• Scissors
• Pencil
• Glue

Step 1:
Cut out the centre of the paper plate and discard, you’ll be left with a wreath shape. Paint the plate with red paint.

Step 2:
Use your red paint to paint the wooden pegs and allow to dry.

Step 3:
Draw and cut a Santa hat shape and belt using your coloured card.

Step 4:
Clip pegs around the edge of the paper plate.

Step 5:
Attach ribbon to peg so it can be hung later.

Step 6:
Glue on Santa hat and belt, and don’t forget the cotton wool ball!

We are thrilled to announce that the Hive Mind Installation by @deadpuppetsociety is travelling interstate and will be featured in the @sydney_festival and Sydney Living Museum! Congratulations to the talented team at Dead Puppet Society! We couldn’t be happier to see this stunning piece moving down south to further create opportunities to discuss the significance of bees in our ecosystems. 🐝
