- A bowl of natural materials
- A4 stock card
- Black marker
Collect a selection of natural items, flowers, leaves and anything else that is interesting.
Find a lovely space to work in and with the pencil draw some simple fairy people on the A4 card, they can even be stick figures. A good way to start a drawing of a person is to start with the head and work your way down. A circle for the head, square or rectangle for the shirt and then build off of that.
Once you have finished drawing your fairies use the black maker and trace over them, rubbing out the pencil marks when you are done.
Take your collection of leaves and flowers and have some fun playing around with different placements for skirts and wings and other things, get creative.
Once you are happy with your ideas, trim down the leaves and anything else and glue into place. Remember to build a beautiful garden around your fairy’s as well. When it is all glued down take a step back and see if you need to draw any more details in. Hang it on your wall and watch it change over time as all the elements dry out.
