- A4 white stock card
- A5 yellow stock card
- A6 white stock card
- Toilet rolls
- Acrylic Paint yellow and orange
- Water bowl
- Black Marker
Flatten the toilet rolls and cut into strips of different heights.
Once cut, fold every individual piece twice on itself, unfold so it looks like a bow then pull the middle points out, it should now look like a hexagon. Go through and do this to all of the pieces.
Glue the hexagons onto the white A4 card and to each other using PVA glue. Set aside to dry.
On the yellow A5 piece of card draw three circles and three tear drop shapes in different sizes. These will be used to make the bees.
Glue the circles onto similar sized tear drops and draw the stripes and faces on with the black marker.
Turn it over and glue the wings and toothpick feelers onto the back. Set all three bees aside to dry.
Once the hexagons have dried, start painting the inside of the hexagon alternating the colours yellow and orange making sure to paint all of them with some honey colours.
Allow to dry and place the bees in their new honey comb home.
