Fish on a string
Materials
  • A4 White card
  • A6 Pink card
  • Watercolours
  • Brush
  • Pencil
  • Skewer
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Crayons
  • String
Step 1

Fold the A4 white card in half, draw a fish shape with the pencil and cut the shape out.

Step 2

Paint your fish with watercolour paints and let dry.

Step 3

Once the fish is dry add an eye and some scales with the crayons.

Step 4

Take the pink card and make three holes close to one of the long edges, this is where the string will go.

Turn the fish over and glue the pink piece of card on where the fish lips would go leaving the holes exposed.

Step 5

Glue the two fins together and thread the string through the holes.

Step 6

Tie the three strings to the skewer which will be the fishing pole. Make sure to cut the pointy end off.

Let the fish dry which won’t take long. Now you are ready to go fishing!
