A5 Green coloured card
A4 plain white paper
Coloured markers, pencils or crayons
Lead pencil
Scissors
Glue
Draw a leaf shape on the green card with lead pencil (be sure to use all the space). Cut this out and put to the side.

Put the A4 piece of paper in front of you in portrait view. Draw a snail head at the top of the page near the edge. This way if you want to make more, you can use the rest of the page. Attached to the head you are going to draw a long rectangle which will become a little narrower towards the bottom of the page.
Cut the shape out and decorate along with the leaf shape you cut out earlier. You can use your choice of markers, pencils or crayons. Crayons were used on both sides of the snail. Make sure you put eyes and a smile on your snail!

Roll the snail up in a coil leaving the head to pop out. At this stage you can glue the snail to the leaf or leave it free to be used in imaginary play time.
Make some more friends for your snail, maybe a little snail family. Enjoy!
