- A4 white card stock

Mix some watercolours up with a little bit of water so you are able to get some vibrant colours and so it is thick enough to make some prints. Decide if you want a portrait style picture or a landscape and start making some dots using your fingers.
While you are painting you can talk about what colours are bees, lady bugs, butterflies and other bugs you may like. Use all these colours and also think about placement on the page, example where to put the finger prints to make a butterfly shape and so on.
Once you are happy and you think you have enough prints to make some bugs, allow the paint to dry, which shouldn’t take long. Find your markers and start drawing in some details on and around the prints to create the bugs.
I have also put in some lines to show where the bees in my picture have been flying and some hills in the background. Have fun and remember it’s your piece of art work so get creative!
